ASAN Membership

Membership is open to individuals, organizations, or firms interested in research and application, instruction, or extension in animal science or associated with the production, processing, marketing, or distribution of livestock and livestock products. Membership is based on the calendar year (January 1 through December 31).

MEMBERSHIP QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIREMENTS FOR BECOMING A MEMBER OF ANIMAL SCIENCE ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA (ASAN)

  • Must possess a First Degree Certificate in any of the Animal science discipline.
  • Obtain membership form through our website on (animalscienceassociation.org.ng) → down load form); fill appropriately and attach all the underlisted documents to the form
  • A copy of your First Degree Certificate (include your transcript if you obtained a Agric. certificate or have a foreign degree certificate)
  • Payment teller of #15, 000 for Membership Processing Fee and Annual Due which is to be paid into the Association’s bank account as indicated on the attached Membership Form.
  • Two (2) recent passport photographs.
  • Marriage Certificate or Change of Name Certificate (as applicable).
  • Submit to the Association (through surface post or electronic mail) with the postal address and e-mail addresses shown on the form below.

Pricing and Applications

Members can opt for the on-line version of the journal only or the printed version of the journal which also includes online access. Membership runs from 1 January – 31 December each year with the initial subscription on joining and thereafter on 1 January each year.

  • Membership costs NGN10,000 a year.
  •  Application Form cost NGN 5,000
  • Payment should be paid into the GTBank account number: 0009669667 with the name Animal Science Association
